The 14th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League will see the Nellai Royal Kings take on Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans. The Kings are placed on top of the points table having won all of their four games so far while Tamizhans are placed sixth on the points table having won one out of their two games so far. Kings will look to strengthen their position at the top with a win while Tamizhans will look to come back to winning ways having lost their previous game against Dindigul Dragons.

The Kings have done both chasing and defending in the tournament having won two of their games batting second and two batting first. Tamizhans won their opening game against Ruby Trichy Warriors by 4 wickets and started their tournament journey in a grand fashion. But were rolled over by Dindigul Dragons in their second encounter. They will be looking to make a strong comeback in the next game.
The star performers from their first game were Subramanian Anand and wicketkeeper batter Tushar Raheja who scored 35 off 26 and 42 off 26 balls respectively. M Mohammed was awarded ‘Player of the Match’ for his all-round show in the first match as he picked up 1 wicket and scored a quickfire 29 off 15 balls. Tamizhans will have to get comfortable batting first and setting a good score on the board as teams are fancying chasing in the tournament so far.
