As the whole of India celebrates Holi, Indian cricketers also celebrated the festival of colours with their teammates yesterday. Foreign players playing for various franchises in the ongoing Women's T20 League enjoyed their time in India celebrating the country's biggest festival. Ahead of their clash against Gujarat, the Bangalore women's team played with colours, and pictures of their cheery time went viral on social media in no time.

Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine and Heather Knight were spotted playing Holi alongside their skipper Smriti Mandhana and wicketkeeper batter Richa Ghosh. Amidst this, English cricketer Heather Knight took to her Twitter handle to ask how to remove the pink Holi colour from her hair. In response, Indians flooded the comments section with suggestions to help her, but what made the tweet interesting was her compatriot Kate Cross' hilarious reply. The England bowler suggested a drastic solution, saying "shave it".

Following Cross's witty reply, the Indians said that is the best solution, and began to suggest other humorous solutions as well. One user commented, "It would take months. Speaking from own experience". Another user jokingly replied, "Use washing powder Nirma".

Meanwhile, after yesterday's Holi celebration, Bangalore all-rounder Ellyse Perry has also asked a question to the fans. Perry was worried that the Holi colour would be permanent as she couldn't get rid of the pink colour in her hair even after washing it twice.

Fans did not leave the comment section of their favourite player as they suggested various solutions and some gave humorous ideas. Some said she should have applied some oil before playing Holi, while others said it might take her a week or two to completely get rid of the colour.

Bangalore aim to bounce back after losing the first two matches

Smriti Mandana-led Bangalore is yet to win a match in the tournament as they suffered humiliating defeats in their first two matches of WTL 2023. Their first loss was against Delhi by 60 runs and the second was even worse, losing by 9 wickets against Mumbai. However, the franchise has quality players who can play match-winning knocks in any situation and hope they bounce back when they face Gujarat at the Brabourne Stadium today.
