England thumped South Africa in the third test and won the series by 2-1. The Brits have lost only one test out of the seven test matches they played after Brendon McCullum took over. The Kiwi Coach is all impressed with the team and praised the Three Lions for their emphatic series win. He expressed his happiness on the win and highlighted the team's talent.
"I thought English cricket had a lot of talent but it's got a lot more than I thought. I knew these guys were good but they are a lot better than I thought. It is a very privileged position to be in to go and help these guys perform. It has been an absolute thrill," he said to BBC after the series win against the Proteas.
Prior to the match, Dean Elgar criticized England's 'Bazball' approach and said that it won't last long. The southpaw challenged the English side and said that the Proteas will put an end to the approach. After going down 1-0 in the series, the Three Lions bounced back in the second test finishing the match in three days. With the third test starting only on the third day, the England team have done well to clinch the win on the fifth day.

The coach from New Zealand admitted on the team's success and said that he was delighted about the summer.
"There are still big challenges in the next couple of years but for now it has been a pretty successful summer," the coach said.
England captain Ben Stokes drew light on the challenges that lie ahead for the English team and opined on the mission that they have. He further highlighted the excitement that he had for the approaching Ashes series and assured fans of bouncing back.
"When you know you've got an Ashes coming up very soon, it's hard not to look at it, especially with how the last Ashes trip went. I'm excited by the Ashes next summer, especially with the way in which we're playing," Stokes said.
