'That is NUTS!' - Rey Mysterio striking his son Dominik takes internet by storm, hits 17M views in just 12 hours

Rey Mysterio took the internet by storm after striking his son Dominik Mysterio, garnering nearly 17 million views across all official WWE-related social media platforms. Rey, who always refused to fight with his son, lost his temper this time and hit Dominic. The 48-year-old also accepted Dominik's challenge of a fight at WrestleMania 39 after a long period of harassment and pressure from his son.

This all happened after Rey Mysterio lost a one-on-one match to LA Knight on Friday night of SmackDown. As the two continued to fight, Dominik came to ringside and watched the bout. As soon as the fight ended, Rey's son entered the ring and pressured his father to fight him at WrestleMania. The American as always refused to fight and left the ring.

Dominic lost his cool and showed his frustration to his mother who was present in the arena. The 25-year-old insulted and mocked his mother for marrying a deadbeat guy like Rey. Then, the wrestling legend lost his temper and knocked Dominic down, prompting him to have a highly personal showdown against his own son.

After the father-son feud, Rey took to social media and posted "Every man has his limits…Don’t forget, she’s not only your mother but my wife. See you at #WrestleMania". His tweet went viral in no time and fans are excited to see the battle between the two.

His tweet went viral in no time and the excitement of fans to see the battle between the two went high after the contest was officially added to the WrestleMania match card.

"After enduring months of disrespect,@ReyMysterio will finally step in the squared circle in a highly-personal showdown against his own son, @DomMysterio35, at #WrestleMania," tweeted WWE WrestleMania.

Dominik constantly harassed his father and attempted to fight with him, but the master of the 619 always denied it. Even when Rey was announced as being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for 2023, his son interrupted and ruined one of the best moments of his wrestling career.
