Rishabh Pant had suffered a near-fatal car crash when he was driving back from Roorkee to Delhi. The accident took place at around 5:30 AM on December 30, 2022, when the car collided with the divider and then it toppled to the other side before it caught fire. Pant survived the crash but he had several injuries, including one on his forehead, leg and abrasions on his back.
Now the Indian Team have poured in their heartfelt wishes for Pant’s speedy recovery. Ishan Kishan was stunned when he got to know of the left-handed batter’s accident from the fans at the Ranji Trophy when he was playing for Jharkhand against Services. Jharkhand won the match by 9 wickets. He was spellbound and then enquired about Pant’s well-being. Here is a look at the heartfelt wishes from the Indian Cricket Team to Pant.

In a video posted by the Indian Cricket Board, Rahul Dravid was the first to wish Pant saying, "Hey Rishabh, hope you are doing well. Over the one last year, I have had the privilege of seeing you play some of the greatest innings played in Indian cricket Test history. Whenever we have been in difficult situations, I know you have got that character and got the ability to get yourself out of very difficult situations. This is just one such challenge and I know you are going to bounce back like you have done so many times this (last) year. Look forward to having you back soon buddy.”
“Hi Rishabh! just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery. I know you have been a fighter and things are not as what you would have liked but life is like that and I know the kind of person you are. You will kind of break all the doors and make a comeback as what you have always done. My love and wishes are always with you and the whole team and the whole nation is behind you. Get well soon my brother,” said Hardik Pandya who is leading India against Sri Lanka in the T20 series.
