Australia recently crowned as champions of the Test cricket after winning the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 final against India by 209 runs. The Pat Cummins-led team will look to kick off the new edition of WTC with bang, as they take on another international cricketing behemoth, England, in the high-profile Ashes series, which begins tomorrow (June 16).

The 2023 Ashes is expected to be more exciting than before as it will be a fierce battle between England's 'bazball' and Australia's pace attack. With Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum taking the reins of England cricket, their style of play has changed drastically, calling it 'bazball' and their skipper has promised to go with the same style against Australia.

As the focus of the cricket fraternity shifts to England for the next month and a half, several former cricketers and experts are busy giving predictions and analysis of the five-match series. The part 1 of the video series begins with former Australian pacer Ryan Harris clean bowling former England opener Alastair Cook in the 2013-14 Ashes.

Aussies speedster Mitchell Starc's peach of a delivery to dismiss Rory Burns on a duck was the second moment to feature in the favourite Ashes moments. Starc made an electrifying start to the 2021 Ashes as he struck with the first ball.

The inaugural day-night Ashes Test will forever be remembered for stellar knock of Ellyse Perry. The star all-rounder scored the highest individual score by an Australian in Women's Tests. Her unbeaten 213 broke the record of legendary Karen Rolton's 209* against England at Leeds in 2001.

Mike Hussey's amazing Adelaide finish has grabbed the fourth place in the first part. The former Australian left-hander won the unwinnable Test match against England at Adelaide Oval. The final fan favourite moment was Australian pacer Peter Siddle's birthday hat-trick. On November 25, 2010, the right-arm seamer achieved this rare feat that too in the Ashes.
