Ravindra Jadeja has been outstanding in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the Nagpur Test, he was at the top of his game, winning the man of the match award for his excellent bowling spell. He has maintained his form in the ongoing second Test in Delhi.

In the second innings of the second Test, Jadeja picked up a 7-wicket haul, which has put the Indian team in a great position. The team led by Rohit Sharma restricted Australia to a score of 113 runs in the second innings. They now have a target of 115 runs to chase down.

Jadeja bowled five of the seven wickets he claimed. He took the first wicket for India on Day 2 and added six more the next day. The Kangaroos crumbled down to 113 runs after scoring 61/1 on Day 2. The all-rounder got the wickets of Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Peter Handscomb, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, and Matthew Kuhnemann.

Jadeja conceded 42 runs in the innings, registering his best figures in a single innings in Test cricket. In addition, he also took three wickets in the first innings to take his tally to 10 in the match.

Earlier in the game, India had restricted Australia to a score of 263 runs in the first innings. India followed it up with a score of 262 runs, handing the visitors a 1-run lead in the first innings. For Australia, Nathan Lyon was the star of the innings, completing his five-wicket haul.

In the meantime, India defeated Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the first match played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Another win is also very close for them in the second match in Delhi. A win here would mean India will retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, having won the last three editions.
