Team India on Sunday brought their 2022 tour of England to a close on a brilliant note as the Rohit Sharma led side scripted a dominating 5 wicket win in Manchester to seal the ODI series 2-1. Rishabh Pant's blistering maiden ODI ton and Hardik Pandya's superbly brilliant all-round helped Team India to put an end to their Manchester jinx and. Moments after the big win BCCI President Sourav Ganguly hailed India's show in England in the 2022 tour and gave a special mention to former skipper Virat Kohli as well in his post that has gone viral.

After India had a poor start to the England tour after the three lions won the test at Edgbaston. India strongly bounced back in the shorter formats with strong performances to clinch the T20I series 2-1 and then won the ODI series 2-1 after a dominating five wicket win in Manchester.
Impressed with India's performance, Ganguly took to Twitter to hail the team and mentioned Kohli and Ravi Shastri in his tweet as well, who were part of the team management during the 2021 Test series.

This was India's first ODI series win in England since 2014 which has taken a long time to come and it is the fourth ODI series win overall.
"Very pleased. Came here, wanted to achieve something as a group in white ball. We were here last time and were beaten, I remember that. Not an easy place to come and win games," India skipper Rohit Sharma said after the big win in the post-match presentation.
India have not had the best of times in the ODI format recently and it was labelled as not being India's best format to play in. India's template and combinations in ODI's was questioned but this series win has come at the right time and it will give the team confidence to do even better in the format going forward.
