Star India fast bowler ruled out of the Bangladesh ODI series due to a shoulder injury

India crashed out of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 semi-final against England after scoring just 168-6 batting first. India will look to start afresh in the ODI series against Bangladesh which will be a three-match ODI series, followed by two Test matches. The Men in Blue will look to fine-tune their combinations and get a settled XI as they head into the ODI World Cup 2023 which will be hosted on home soil. But before the start of the series India have been dealt a big blow.

Mohammed Shami spearheaded the Indian bowling in 20-20 World Cup

Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the Bangladesh series with a shoulder injury, according to a release from the Indian Cricket Board. He was the spearhead of the Indian bowling attack in the just concluded 20-20 World Cup. He picked up 6 wickets in 6 matches and bowled some important overs at the death for India.
