Sourav Ganguly and Sunil Gavaskar have set high benchmarks in Indian cricket. Both of them have had outstanding careers and they have even served in administrative capacities. While Ganguly has served as the President of the Indian Cricket Board, Sunil Gavaskar has also served as chairman of the Cricket Governing Body and has also been an interim president on the board to manage the 7th season of the Indian T20 League.

The two of them are die-hard football fans as well. While Sunil Gavaskar has been an ardent follower of Arsenal Football Club, Ganguly had been a co-owner of the Atletico De Kolkata football club. He also was instrumental in ATK joining hands with Mohun Bagan. Just like the 1983 World Cup winner, Ganguly also has an appreciation for Arsenal.

"I've been an Arsenal follower - I won't say a fan so much - been a follower for a long time. I used to tease my son who is a Manchester United fan that I am an Arsenal fan, and he would ask 'Tell me 4 names from the Arsenal team'. I would say, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

Arsene Wenger looks like ML Jaisimha and that is why I like him - Sunil Gavaskar

"Arsene Wenger is an uncanny lookalike of my hero ML Jaisimha, so that's an additional factor. Henry was someone who I really admired watching and he also has signed a shirt for me," Gavaskar told Sony Sports. He said he had a soft corner towards Arsene Wenger due to this reason.

Out of nowhere, he suddenly turned to Sourav Ganguly and said that the former Indian captain owned him a shirt signed by Wenger. Gavaskar wanted to take the shirt back from Sourav.

"Sourav Ganguly... hello? Where is that shirt? I am coming to Kolkata for the game on the 12th and Sourav, you better this time - I don't want any excuses. You are no longer the Indian Cricket Board President. You have a little more time on your hands. Find that shirt which Henry had signed for me and please give it to me when I come there on the 12th," he said.

Bergkamp has a special place in the history of Arsenal Football, as he has starred for the club in 423 appearances and has netted 120 goals. Thierry Henry comes just behind in being an important part of Arsenal, having scored 228 goals in a wonderful career spanning from 1999 to 2007.
