Manchester City players have been having a great time after winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League to clinch a historic treble. Pep Guardiola’s team defeated Inter Milan 1-0 in Istanbul on Saturday to become only the second English team to complete the feat since Manchester United in 1998–99. The Sky Blues have been celebrating their triumph with some memorable nights out in the Turkish capital, Ibiza and Manchester.

Kevin Grealish, the father of City's attacking midfielder Jack Grealish, said that the club's fifth Premier League title in the previous six seasons saw expensive celebrations. Kevin revealed that the team staggering spent £47,000 on one night of their celebrations at the Tunnel Club, Etihad's premier hospitality suite.

"To be fair to City, they've been brilliant with the celebrations and all the parties. There was one for winning the Premier League at the Tunnel Club a few weeks ago. The drinks bill came to £47,000, FORTY-SEVEN GRAND! – I saw the receipt – and before you say it, that wasn't just Jack's drinks bill. He actually went home early that night!," Jack's father told The Mirror.

"All of the families get on really well and Alf, Haaland's old man, is a great bloke, really down to earth. He came over to me and said have some of this cigar. I took a drag on it and I nearly coughed my guts up. I've not smoked for 28 years!" Kevin added.

Jack Grealish gears up for the clash against Malta

Meanwhile, Jack Grealish has begun practising with his England teammates as Gareth Southgate's team gears up for European qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia in the coming days. However, the winger is unlikely to feature in the starting XI against Malta on Friday night alongside Calvin Phillips, Phil Foden, John Stones and Kyle Walker. Players will go on holiday following City's game against Macedonia.

Speaking after completing the treble, the City boss said their victory was written in the stars and he felt relaxed and satisfied. “It was written in the stars that we’d win this season – and we did. I’m feeling tired, calm and satisfied. This fu*king trophy is so difficult to win. We knew it would be hard. They are really good. We were anxious in the first half but it was a question of being patient. I told them to be patient," Guardiola said.
