India batter Prithvi Shaw has never been vocal about his life beyond the cricket pitch, more so about his love life. However, on Tuesday, Shaw decided to put up a story on his Instagram account, sharing a peek of his confidante in a cute photo. The girl in the image was the model-cum-actress Nidhi Tapadia, whom Shaw addressed as his 'wifey', thus confirming his relationship with the 22-year-old.
However, Shaw later deleted the post and clarified through another story on Instagram, saying he didn't put the previous story and that someone edited his pictures. He also asked his followers to steer clear of any messages or tags from his account, hinting that his Instagram account was compromised.
'Someone editing my pics and showing stuffs that I have not put on my story or on my page. So ignore all the tags and messages, thanks,' wrote the 23-year-old on his Instagram account. Interestingly, Tapadia had earlier subtly hinted at her relationship with Shaw in a recent Instagram post from Gulmarg, Kashmir. "Currently living in heaven," she captioned her post.
Valentine's Day 2023 will be a special occasion for several Indian cricketers
Valentine's Day 2023 will be a memorable occasion for a few Indian cricketers. Star batter KL Rahul recently got married to actress Athiya Shetty, and this would be the couple's first V-Day after getting married. Meanwhile, India allrounder Hardik Pandya and his wife Nataša Stanković are all set to travel to Udaipur to re-marry.
The couple's first marriage back in May 2020 was a courtroom marriage with no pomp and joy, and the idea of a lavish wedding was on the couple's mind. They have chosen Valentine's Day as their D-day to tie the knot in an elaborate four-day wedding to be solemnised in Udaipur. The couple was blessed with their baby boy, Agasthya, in July 2020, roughly two months after their legal marriage.
