In his praise, he couldn't resist taking an indirect dig at the Indian openers, stating, "THEY CANNOT PLAY HIM," which sent social media abuzz with cricket enthusiasts worldwide weighing in on the statement.

Before the rain intervened, India managed to post a competitive total of 266 all out in 48.5 overs. Thanks to Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan’s 138-run partnership for the fifth wicket. This alliance salvaged India from a precarious position of 66 for 4 in 14.1 overs.

While the match ultimately ended in a washout, it ensured that Pakistan concluded their Group A campaign with 3 points, securing their place in the Super Four of the tournament. India, having earned a point from their opening fixture, are now poised to face Nepal on Monday with the hope of advancing to the Super Four stage.
