Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is back in the Indian squad after a gap of almost 11 months, and he will be leading the Team India squad against Ireland for three T20I series. Ahead of the first outing, since he last played for India in September 2022 in the three-match T20I series, in the viral video, Bumrah can be seen bowling yorkers and bouncers in the first net session ahead of the first game. 

The right-arm pacer is making a comeback after missing the T20 World Cup 2022, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, and the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final. He suffered a back injury and will now be leading the Men in Blue as regular faces have been rested for this tour. The 29-year-old was seen bowling yorkers and bouncers to an Indian batter in the first net session of the Ireland tour.

It is pertinent to mention that, Team India is coming off a defeat in the Caribbean tour, in which they lost the five games by 2-3. The main focal point is likely to be how Bumrah will fare in his coming-back series ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. The Indian speedster will be looking to avoid another series loss, the right-arm pacer will be making a comeback in the series. 

It is pertinent to mention that Bumrah was added to the ODI series against Sri Lanka this year but was taken off in a few hours. The selectors and management will be wary of the reintroduction on the pitch and the debacles with regard to the Indian pacer's comeback to the Indian side. The Men in Blue will be looking closely at the fitness of Bumrah, as his comeback will be crucial for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023 tournaments.
