Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have reportedly broken ties with each other

There have been many rumours that Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have a thaw in their relationships and have divorced. However, no official statement has come from the couple as of yet regarding the matter. Malik, former Pakistan skipper and the Legendary Indian Tennis icon when they tied the knot together was big news in the subcontinent in 2010 and the two were seen as a power couple considering that both had excelled in sport for their respective countries for a long period of time.

Malik who has been a wonderful servant to Pakistan Cricket for a long period of time has rumored to have given the cold shoulder to his wife Sania. Reports say that he is now with actress Ayesha Omar who he met at a photoshoot in 2021 while shooting for the Magazine “OK”. Their marriage in recent times has not been smooth sailing according to reports, they have kept apart from each other and are co-parenting their son. There have been different stories coming in from different sources.

An individual from the management team of Malik who also happens to know the couple well said to a media house that the couple have split up for good while Pakistan’s Geo News have claimed that the news was not yet made official as they have put the dotted line with different shows and anything in relation to their split would arouse a lot of complications from a legal standpoint.

Even though it is under rough waters currently. The marriage is still most talked about and will be for a long time to come across the sporting fraternity. The couple were separated due to the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic as the power couple could not meet each other for a long time due to the restrictions in their respective countries.

While the couple have reportedly had a thaw in relations at the moment. This has not been the first time where the couple have had to contend with divorce rumours, in 2014, Sania had to come in and tell the detractors that nothing extraordinary had happened and that there were no problems in the relationship at that point of time.
