Video of an old man shadow batting goes viral

There are instances where the individuals would shadow play ‘imaginary cricket’ among themselves. In fact, there are many fans who do it on a daily basis without their knowledge. Sometimes it might be intentional. But most of the time it would be unintentional. It shows the love of the fans for the sport. One such video of a fan shadow batting has gone viral on the internet.  

The viral video has an old man batting in an imaginary situation. The crazy fan imagined himself to be facing a short ball from the bowler. He then played an imaginary pull shot over the fine leg region. The video had the old man celebrating his shot as he thought it to be a six. It is such a wonderful video to watch and shows how cricket has been a part of the lives of people.  

The 2023 ODI World Cup is the next big tournament in cricket. Asia Cup will also be played ahead of the big tournament. The schedule for both tournaments is out. While the Asia Cup will be played in August and September, the ODI World Cup will be played in October and November.
