Recently, on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Tendulkar took to Twitter to quiz his followers about cricketing terminologies. This gesture not only showcased his love for the game but also highlighted his commitment to promoting Hindi language in cricket. By using Hindi terms related to cricket, he encouraged his fans to connect with their roots and celebrate their local language.
Tendulkar took to X (Twitter) and asked his followers to name the umpire, wicketkeeper, fielder, and helmet in Hindi. "Could you please tell me what the following cricket words are in Hindi?" the Mumbai batter wrote in Hindi.

Tendulkar played 200 Tests for India, the most by any player. He scored 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78, 51 centuries, and 68 half-centuries, with a top score of 248*. The master blaster also played in 463 One-Day Internationals, scoring 18,426 runs with a strike rate of 86.23 and an average of 44.83. In the format, he had 49 centuries and 96 fifties, with a high score of 200*. He is the first player in ODI history to score a double century. He has the most runs scored in both formats.
Tendulkar also hit ten runs in one T20I. The master blaster cored 34,357 runs in 664 matches at an average of 48.52 and a strike rate of above 67, including 100 centuries and 164 fifties. He is the all-time leading run-scorer in international cricket. Tendulkar is also the first player in international cricket history to have achieved 100 hundreds. During his long career, the former batter represented India in six World Cups. He was also a part of the 2011 World Cup-winning squad.
