As the 2nd edition of SA20 is in its final stages, the top four teams are battling hard to win the coveted trophy and etch their names in the winner's list of the tournament. In the Qualifiers match, the Sunrisers Eastern Capes (SEC) rolled over the Durban Super Giants (DSG) by 51 runs at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town.
Amid all the hype of the playoffs and intense battles between the top players, the marvellous effort of the Sunrisers captain, Aiden Markram on the field, who pulled off a stunner to dismiss all-rounder JJ Smuts, became the highlight of the match.
Smuts mistimed a half-pull shot off a back-of-the-length delivery by Baartman which at first looked that would easily clear the 30-yard at mid-on but Markram showed exemplary athleticism and timed his jump to perfection to take an unbelievable one-hand stunner. The catch has taken the social media by storm and gone viral among the cricket fans. Watch the video of the catch here:

Sunrisers' bowlers thwarted DSG’s chase
It was a top-of-the-table clash in the Qualifiers where two best teams of the tournament and SEC emerged victorious in a one-sided affair. SEC has qualified for the finals of the tournament, which is to be played at the same venue on 10th February. DSG will now play the winner of the eliminators which is between the Paarl Royals and the Joburg Super Kings at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on February 7.
The SEC won the toss and opted to bat on a two-paced Newlands pitch and went on to score a competitive 157 runs on the back of a classy knock of 63 runs by David Malan along with Aiden Markram who chipped in crucial 30 runs.
In response, Ottniel Baartman and Marco Jansen broke the back of the DSG batting line-up by picking 4 wickets each. Only, Wian Mulder and Heinrich Klaasen could show some resistance before succumbing to the discipline bowling off the SEC bowlers. However, DSG still has a chance to make it through to the finals by winning the 2nd Qualifiers against the winners of the eliminators.
