Team India players celebrated Holi on their team bus on Tuesday, March 7, ahead of the fourth Test match against Australia in Ahmedabad. A video of skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer celebrating the festival of colours went viral on social media. Everyone looked cheery and Rohit Sharma was seen throwing colours at Kohli, who was dancing to Holi songs.

Team India arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday for the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. After their first training session on Tuesday, they all played Holi together while returning to the hotel in their team bus. The Indian Cricket Board shared some pictures on its official Twitter handle, showing the players celebrating Holi in their dressing room with staff members at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Indian star batter Suryakumar Yadav posted a couple of pictures on his Instagram handle and wished everyone a very happy Holi.

India aims to book a berth in Test Championship final

Rohit and the team are all set to lock horns with Australia in the fourth Test of the BGT series to be played from March 9 to 13 at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. India currently leads the series 2-1, but the hosts need one more win to clinch the series and secure a place in the World Test Championship at London's Oval in June. If they lose the Ahmedabad Test, things will get more complicated as the Men in Blue will have to rely on the result of the Test series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

According to reports, the Ahmedabad pitch is unlikely to be a rank turner like the indoor pitch. The Cricket Governing Body rated the Indore pitch as 'poor' as it did not provide balanced support for the batters and bowlers and the game ended in just three days. Meanwhile, Indian senior pacer Mohammad Shami is set to return to the playing 11 after missing the third Test due to rest.
