After losing to Australia in the WTC final, Indian players are on a month-long break before the West Indies tour. The Men in Blue will play non-stop cricket for the year starting next month with the West Indies tour, where they will play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.

While cricketers enjoy their off-season with friends and family, veteran Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav was spotted at the Prem Mandir in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. Yadav is the latest Indian player to seek divine blessings at sacred places. Recently, many cricketers, including former Indian captain Virat Kohli, former Test vice-captain KL Rahul and all-rounder Axar Patel also visited temples to offer their prayers.

Kuldeep's inconsistent performances have resulted in him not receiving enough opportunities despite representing India in all game formats. He last played for Team India in an ODI against Australia in March 2023. While his last T20 game was against New Zealand on February 1, 2023, his last appearance in whites was against Bangladesh on December 14, 2022.

Kuldeep Yadav hopes to be selected for the West Indies tour

With the West Indies tour around the corner, Kuldeep hopes to play in any of the three formats. The Indian Cricket Board is yet to reveal the squads for the series, and Kuldeep may get a call to represent in the limited-overs series. Also, with the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup around the corner, Kuldeep will want to put all his efforts to get on the selectors' radar.

Kuldeep, the left-arm chinaman, last appeared on the field for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Kuldeep could not perform remarkably, taking only ten wickets from 14 matches with an economy rate of 7.37 and an average of 36.10. His team also had a disappointing season, ending second last in the points table.
