Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian allrounder, is out of action of late as he had to undergo knee surgery. For the unversed, the Gujarat-born bowed out of the Asia Cup after a group-stage match against Hong Kong in September. After going through a lot of struggles, Jadeja is up on his feet again and the player has proven it again with an Instagram post that he came up with on October 8, Saturday.

With regards to his recent post, Jadeja posted a picture of himself caressing a horse and called it his "crush". The hilarious post from the star allrounder was well received by the fans and the likes skyrocketed to 4 lakh in no time.

Here’s the post:

Jadeja married Riva Solanki in the year 2016 and the duo has a daughter. The Indian star all-rounder stays active on social media and comes up with a post frequently. The recent one, however, came out to be the best from him of recent times.

India, on the other news, has reached Australia in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Jadeja. The Rohit Sharma-led team will take on arch-rivals Pakistan on October 23 at Melbourne Cricket Ground in what will be a high-voltage clash.

It’s an opportunity to unearth a new champion: Ravi Shastri

The former India coach Ravi Shastri said recently that the Indian team in the absence of Bumrah and Jadeja can still win the World Cup. Further, Shastri added that Men in Blue have all the potential to unearth a new champion in the upcoming showpiece event in Australia.

“I think we have got enough strength and we have a good team. I have always believed if you make it to the semi-finals, it could be anyone’s tournament,” Shastri said during the launch of a new coaching venture along with former bowling coach Bharat Arun and former fielding coach R Sridhar.

“The endeavour would be to start well, get to the semis, and then you have got enough strength to probably win the Cup, for all you know. Bumrah not being there, Jadeja not being there, it hampers the side, but it’s an opportunity to unearth a new champion,” said the former coach further.
