Ahead of the four-match Test series against India, Australia are camping near Bengaluru for special practice sessions. Australia has scouted an action-duplicate of ace India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin to practice against their biggest threat of the series.

Ashwin is set to lead Indian bowling in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. He has been one of the biggest threats for any touring team in recent years. Meanwhile, Ashwin has shared a picture of his ‘edited bio’ on Twitter which took social media by storm.

On Sunday morning Ashwin shared a humorous tweet with a screenshot of his player profile page attached. The screenshot revealed that Ashwin's bowling style was unknown to a cricket website, as it was labeled as ‘right arm off-spin? / Right arm leg-spin. By sharing the picture Ashwin wrote, "My morning coffee came with this and I wonder who has done this."

Here's the tweet:

Ravichandran Ashwin will be India’s key bowler

Ravichandran Ashwin will be leading India’s spin bowling department. His records against Australia have been commendable over time. Ashwin had taken 21 wickets when the last time Australia visited India for a Test series was in 2017.

With a spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final on the line India will want Ashwin to leave a similar impact in this series. Ashwin has played 18 Test matches against Australia in which he has clinched 89 wickets with the best figure of 7/103 in an inning. He has five 5-wicket and one 10-wicket haul against the Aussies.

The first match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be played in Vidarbha Cricket Stadium in Nagpur from February 9. India will be without two of their best players, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah, in the first two matches of the series. However, Jasprit Bumrah might still make a comeback in the third match of the series but Pant, who is now on bed rest after a car accident, wouldn't be available for the entire series.
