According to reports, India's head coach Rahul Dravid has left the Indian National Team due to personal issues amidst the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka. Dravid left the team due to blood pressure issues. However, it has also been understood that he is completely fine and there is no need to worry.
In the images that have gone viral on the internet, Rahul Dravid could be seen sharing the frame with a few fans as he boarded the flight to Bangalore. The coach had complained about blood pressure during the second One Day International (ODI) and was, later, checked by doctors of the Cricket Association of Bengal.
Despite boarding the Bengaluru flight, Dravid is likely to join the national team before the final One-Day International (ODI), which is set to be held in Thiruvananthapuram.
India have already registered the series victory in the ongoing One-Day series against Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue already have a 2-0 victory over Sri Lanka and are expected to make a few changes ahead of the third One-Day International.
Talking about the last game, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first. Despite getting a good start, the team couldn't post a par score on the board, thanks to some impressive bowling performances from Indian spinners. The entire team got bundled out for 215 with few overs to spare.
India started their innings aggressively as they raced to 32 for loss of no wickets before they slipped to 86 for the loss of four wickets. Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul then stitched a partnership to take India closer to the target. Though Pandya and Axar Patel fell after getting decent stars, K L Rahul stayed there till the end to take the team over the line. Kuldeep Yadav was adjudged Man of the Match for his oustanding bowling performance.
The third and final ODI of the series is slated to be played on Sunday.
