The Big Bash League match between Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat ended in a dramatic victory for the Brisbane Heat, who won by 3 wickets.

Heats won the toss and elected to field first. In the first innings, Melbourne Stars made 159/7 in 20 overs, with Nick Larkin top-scoring with 58 off 36 balls. Beau Webster also contributed with 36 off 34 balls, and Tom Rogers chipped in with 26 off 23 balls.

Michael Neser with 4 wickets in 4 overs was the pick of the bowlers from Heats side, while Spencer Johnson, James Bazley, and Matt Renshaw took one wicket each to stop the Stars at a comfortable total.
