Haryana Steelers faced off Bengal Warriors in the final clash of the triple header in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) on October 8, Saturday at Shree Krantiveera Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru. It was the Steelers who gained the initial point on the back of a stupendous tackle from right cover Mohit against raider Maninder Singh from Bengal.

Soon after that, the Steelers gained an early lead of 4-1 and looked on course to vindicate it further. The first ten minutes turned out to be a thrilling one as the Warriors produced a stunning defence to make a comeback despite losing the momentum early to concede the lead.

With regards to the first half, post ten minutes, Manjeet, the Steelers’ star raider, grabbed yet another stunner when he got Shubham Shinde with a perfect stretch. The team based in Haryana, who made the perfect use of every opportunity, took lead by earning four more points to their name. However, Girish Ernak, the defence star from the Warriors, brought his team back into the contest and helped his team take a 13-12 lead at halftime.
