The cricketing fraternity, especially the fans are eagerly waiting for the highly-anticipated ODI World Cup 2023, in India. The tournament is set to commence on the 5th of October with the tournament opener between the defending champions England and last edition’s runners-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile, the ticketing process for the ODI World Cup has emerged as one of the major concerns for cricket fans. The fans are going through many problems in booking tickets for some big matches like the India vs Pakistan clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium on the 14th of October.

Amidst all this, the Indian Cricket Board has come up with good news for the fans as they have just announced to release the 4 lakh tickets in the next phase of the ticket sales for the World Cup.

India to start their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia

Speaking of cricket, the hosts India will start their run in the tournament with their tournament opener against Australia on the 8th of October at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Currently, they are in action in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. India have advanced to the super-4 round of the tournament.

Now, they will lock horns with the arch-rivals Pakistan in the super-4 round of the tournament on Sunday, 10th of October. After that, both teams will be in action against each other in the ODI World Cup 2023; the tickets of which have already been sold out in the maximum numbers. So, fans are facing a lot of trouble getting tickets for one of the high-octane clashes of the tournaments.

Apart from that, most of the matches of Team India have already been sold out as the fans were already waiting eagerly for the tickets.
