Pawan Kumar Sehrawat is one of the most reputed raiders in the Pro Kabaddi League history. He is one of those players who has the most raid points. The star raider currently has 986 raid points to his name. The 23-year-old ranks just below Pardeep Narwal and Maninder Singh. Having played a total of 104 matches in the Pro Kabaddi League so far, Pawan Sehrawat is one of the best raiders out there.

The Pro Kabaddi League auction kicked off yesterday. And on Day 1, teams spent a massive 18.11 crores across 12 teams. The teams bid for almost 30 players from various categories. And amidst such a heated auction, the raider from New Delhi scripted history by becoming the most expensive player in the history of the league ever. Pawan Sehrawat was the most valuable pro kabaddi player in season 6 of the league.

Tamil Thalaivas went all out for Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and bought him for a whopping 2.26 crores. The Pro Kabaddi League has never seen such a mammoth bid for any player in previous editions. This gives Tamil Thalaivas, the most needed momentum ahead of the league, that is scheduled to start in October, later this year.

Tamil Thalaivas faced tough competition from U Mumba in the midst of their bid for the Delhi-based raider. Eventually, they kept bidding for the player and won the battle to bag him. Tamil Thalaivas will look to make a strong comeback after having a mediocre season last year. With young Sehrawat in the side, Thalaivas can very well win the trophy this time.

Initially, Vikash Khandola was the most expensive player on day 1 of the auction yesterday. Khandola went to Bengaluru Bulls as they bought him for 1.70 crores. However, he became the second most expensive player after Sehrawat's bid.

Pardeep Narwal made it back to the UP Yoddhas after the team used the final bid match to get him for 90 lakhs. 4 Final Bid Match cards were used yesterday and one of them was for Pardeep Narwal.
