The power couple is in Alibaug working on building a new home on eight acres of land. In two separate transactions, the couple jointly purchased the property. It was also indicated that the 2.54-acre and 4.91-acre land parcels cost them roughly Rs 19.24 Cr. Alibaug is renowned for hosting prominent Bollywood actors and actresses. For the completion of the sale, which was recorded last week, Kohli and Anushka paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.15 Cr.

The cricketer had stayed in the tranquil village of Alibaugh for most of the lockdown during the pandemic and had gotten particularly fond of the tranquil way of life. This can be one of the main factors influencing the couple's choice to construct a home there.
