Virat Kohli is one of the biggest sporting superstars in the world and his fanbase is unmatched. The Indian legend is one among the very few from India who also has a great fanbase in Pakistan. The Men in Green and England are currently facing each other in a seven-match T20I series. And a fan, who was in the stadium during the sixth game, carried a poster requesting the Indian great to play in Pakistan before he calls it a time.
Contrary to Sachin Tendulkar, the modern-era great is yet to play in Pakistan. However, it seems improbable and one could say that a bilateral series between the two nations is never in the offing. Not very long ago, did the cricket board of England offer to host a bilateral series between the two nations.
It was then reported that the Indian cricket board rejected the offer saying that team India will play against Pakistan only in multinational tournaments. Regarding the fan from Pakistan, he had a poster that read, “Kohli! Play in Pakistan befor you retire”. One has to agree that despite the rivalry between Babar Azam and Virat Kohli, the latter has a reasonable fanbase in Pakistan.

Virat Kohli’s comeback
Virat Kohli is known for his aggression and hunger to score runs. The never settling fire that he possesses has helped him gather 71 international centuries to his name. After having a fantastic Asia Cup campaign, Virat Kohli marched on to the series against Australia.
The veteran batter carried on his decent form and his fifty in the third T20I against the Kangaroos. On his return to the Asia Cup, the 33-year-old said that he was finding his rhythm back. It does look like the batter has got his magic touch post a valuable break.
“For the first time in 10 years, I didn’t touch my bat for a month. I haven’t done that ever in my life. I came to the realisation that I was trying to kind of fake my intensity a bit recently," said Virat Kohli in an interview with Star Sports.
Much to the delight of Indian fans, the Indian great has roared back to form after the break and he proved it by scoring his 71st international century in the Asia Cup. Albeit, he has scored a few single-digit scores, Virat Kohli has managed to fare well.
