Brisbane Heat took on Sydney Sixers in the 28th match of the Big Bash League 2022 on Wednesday at North Sydney Oval ground. Brisbane Heat desperately needed a win but the match didn’t get any result as both teams shared a point each.

Brisbane Heat batted 13 overs before the match was called off. There is no denying that Brisbane batted beautifully as they scored 147 runs in just 13 overs. During the innings, a funny incident took place in the 10th over of the innings.

Neser smashed Jordan straight in a bid to target the long -n boundary on the 3rd ball. However, the ball hit straight at McSweeney’s nuts. The latter looked in some pain even as Chris Jordan couldn’t control his laughter.

The video clip of the same has been doing the rounds on the internet. Here’s a look at the video:

Talking about Brisbane Heat’s innings, Colin Munro provided a stellar start with a 14-ball 38-run knock. The likes of Josh Brown (6), Sam Billings (16), Peirson (1) and Whiteley (2) got out cheaply but Munro ensured runs keep coming at a good pace.

Later, Michael Neser produced a stunning knock of 45 runs in just 18 deliveries to take complete control of the innings. Nathan McSweeney also played great support with an unbeaten 28-run knock off 20 balls.

As for the Sydney Sixers, Steve OKeefe returned with figures of 3 for 26 in 3 overs. Sadly, the game was called off before the first innings would get completed.

Both teams have taken 1 point each and with that, the Sydney Sixers have taken the number two position on the table with 4 wins in 8 matches. On the other hand, Brisbane Heat continue to be at the bottom of the table with 5 points to their name.

As of now, Perth Scorchers are leading the way with 5 wins in 6 matches.
