WATCH: KL Rahul loses his cool at Jarvo during India vs Australia game in ODI World Cup 2023

Indian superstar, wicket-keeper, and batter KL Rahul is known to keep his cool and hide his emotions on the field. An English cricket fan who goes by the name Jarvo was in the news for running onto the field. The incident took place during the India versus Australia game on the 8th of October in Chennai.

Jarvo whose real name is Daniel Jarvis was ejected out of Chepauk Stadium immediately. There was a huge penalty put on his head after he was banned for the rest of the tournament by the Apex Cricket Body.

The man in question has now released a video of what exactly happened during his run-in during the game in Chennai. Mohammed Siraj and KL Rahul’s less-than-happy tone and demeanour show the irate side of even the genial Indian cricketers.  

KL Rahul loses his cool at Jarvo in Chennai

It was the 5th game of the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament as Australia took on Pakistan in Chennai. Pat Cummins had won the toss and chose to bat first and lost Mitchell Marsh early in the innings.

There was a huge commotion in the stands as the play was halted for a few minutes. It came to light that Daniel Jarvis AKA Jarvo had run onto the field. A short video is doing the rounds where Jarvo was given a telling-off by KL Rahul. The Indian wicket-keeper could be heard saying “It’s not for you, that place is for you (showing the stands), Go F**K Off, stop coming everywhere”

Daniel Jarvis had run to the field holding his mobile and the first person he encountered was Mohammed Siraj. The Indian fast bowler wasn’t impressed one bit and asked Jarvo to hand over the mobile phone. Just as his interaction with KL Rahul finished, Jarvo was ushered off the ground.

Even former skipper Virat Kohli had got in on the action instead of being angry Kohli could be seen having a few words with Jarvo. The Indian batter could be seen patting Jarvo on the back and advising him to leave the field.

It was not the first time Jarvo had been up to such tricks during an India game. During the 2021 India tour of England, the man from England antagonized many English players with his antics on the field of play. Despite losing his cool on the field KL Rahul was not out 97 to help India beat Australia by six wickets.
