Pakistan is getting ready to play its fourth game of ODI World Cup 2023 against Australia on Friday in Bengaluru. India on the other will play Bangladesh on Thursday in Pune. Paras Mhambrey the Indian bowling coach was asked to speak about the protest launched by PCB to the Apex Cricketing Body.
The Pakistani Cricket Board has lodged a formal complaint over the alleged Indian crowd behavior. Zaka Ashraf who went back to Pakistan on Monday had a discussion with other office-bearers before lodging the protest.
Ever since their huge defeat to the Indian team , Pakistani fans and many prominent media names haven’t taken it well. While there have been some ludicrous claims there has also been attempt to point the fingers towards the Indian fans.
Paras Mhambrey breaks his silence –
Just a day before the game against Bangladesh on Thursday, Indian bowling coach Paras Mhambrey was speaking to the media. The former Indian pace bowler was asked to give his views on the Pakistan’s behavior post the loss.
The Indian bowling coach said "Honestly - I am the wrong person to answer that question. Really, I have not even heard what you are saying. That's not something, it's not my domain so really, I can't answer that”
It was late on Tuesday evening one learnt that the Pakistan Cricket Board had lodged a formal complaint to the Apex Cricket Body. The tweet read “The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged another formal protest over delays in visas for Pakistani journalists and the absence of a visa policy for Pakistan fans for the ongoing World Cup 2023"
A select few journalists were given permission to come to India to cover the ODI World Cup 2023. The fans though weren’t granted visas by the Indian government making millions in Pakistan sad. The tweet rounded off by saying “The PCB has also filed a complaint regarding inappropriate conduct targeted at the Pakistan squad during the India vs Pakistan match held on 14 October 2023,"
Speaking about the game India has played three games so far during the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. Rohit Sharma and his men have so far beaten Australia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan so far. Bangladesh on the other hand have won just once and lost their other two games of the tournament.
