Quinton De Kock scored his second hundred of the ODI World Cup 2023 during the game against Australia. The match between the two teams is being played in Lucknow on Thursday. The Australians began the tournament with a loss to India in Chennai on Sunday by 6 wickets.

South Africa had won their first game beating Sri Lanka with a comprehensive margin in New Delhi. Temba Bavuma's led side had scored 438 runs and won the game by 102 runs. Three South African batters scored centuries during that game and one of them was Quinton De Kock.

30-year-old Quinton De Kock came into the tournament after deciding to call time on his ODI career. Considered one of the best batters from Proteas, De Kock came into the ODI World Cup World 2023 with 17 ODI tons under his belt. With two back-to-back tons, he now has 19 centuries and put himself right at the top with some of the South African greats.

Australian bowling left deflated thanks to Quinton De Kock –

Pat Cummins's decision to bowl first after winning the toss seemed to backfire on the Australians. Quinton De Kock continued from where he left off against Sri Lanka on Saturday in New Delhi.

The 30-year-old was in a punishing mood as he went after the Australian bowling. With a huge six off Pat Cummins, Quinton De Kock got to his 19th ODI ton. This was his second century in two games during ODI World Cup 2023.

Glenn Maxwell got the first wicket when he had Bavuma out for 35 off 55 balls. Adam Zampa then got the wicket of Rassie Van Der Dussen for 26. Quinton De Kock was out trying to be cute only to be bowled by Maxwell for 109.

Aiden Markram scored the fastest ODI World Cup century against Sri Lanka on Saturday. The 29-year-old continued his good form with 56 runs off 44 balls before falling to Pat Cummins.

Josh Hazlewood then got the big wicket of Heinrich Klassen for 29 to leave South Africa at 267/5 with six overs to play. Josh Inglis who replaced Alex Carey took a smart catch to get rid of the dangerous Klassen.
