After Aishwarya Rai controversy, Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzak takes sly dig at India after their loss in ODI World Cup 2023 final

Pakistan’s former all-rounder Abdul Razzak, was once known for his great all-round skills with the bat and ball has now only been reduced to a senseless cricket analyst, who is mostly in the news for vile comments. 

Abdul Razzak was recently in the news when he made appalling comments on the Indian actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai. He is again trending in a negative light for his sly dig at Indian Cricket on their loss against Australia in the recently concluded finals of the ODI World Cup 2023.

Razzak who features as a cricket expert in a Pakistan TV show “Haarna Mana Hai” referred to India’s loss in the World Cup final as the victory of cricket. The former Pakistan player believed that the whole tournament was scheduled and organized in such a way as to favor India to win the World Cup.

Abdul Razzak, 43-year-old former cricketer, said that it would have been a sad day for Cricket if India had won the World Cup as the pitches and the atmosphere of the stadium were in favor of the India team and such kind of pitches favoring one team should not be prepared for the finals.

He added that those who are mentally strong should win the trophy and in the end that happened so he is happy with the result that the deserving team won the finals and other conditions should be balanced for such matches.

Abdul Razzak said, “Agar sahi baat kare toh aaj cricket jeeti hai. Aap conditions ko apni taraf utilise karke, ye kabhi bhi nahi aisa hota. Agar aaj India jeet jaati toh fir cricket jo hai naa vo India ki taraf ho jaati. Cricket ne bataya ki mai vo cricket hu jo brave hote hai, jo strong hote hai mentally, effort krte hai, jaan maarte hai, mai unke saath hu.”

“Khushi iss cheej ki hai aaj ki agar India jeet jaati na to hume bahut jyada afsos hota iss sense mei ki vo conditions ko utilise kar rahi thi. Kuch na kuch toh hai conditions mei. Bilkul fair pitches honi chahiye, bilkul fair atmosphere hona chahiye, ki dono teams ke liye balance hona chahiye. Aaj bhi India ne advantage liya, agar Kohli 100 kar jaate toh India ye World Cup jeet jaati.”
