India’s women’s under-19 team is currently playing against South Africa’s under’s 19 side in a five-match T20I series. Left-arm spinner Mannat Kasyap, recently, made headlines as, she ran out South Africa’s batter Jenna Evans at the non-striker's end, in the first match of the series.
Evans was backing up too far away and Kashyap was pretty watchful of that. During one of her deliveries, she dislodged the stumps upon seeing Evans leaving the crease early. The umpires also gave it out and the South African batter had to make her way back to the pavilion.
Interestingly, India’s captain, Shafali Verma withdrew the decision and called her back. England batter, Danni
Wyatt saw this as an opportunity to create some buzz on Twitter. She took it on her social media handle and criticized India’s Mannat Kashyap for her antics while hoping that it doesn’t happen in the upcoming women’s under-19 World Cup.
Oh no 🤦🏼♀️ I hope there’s none of this in the u19 WC! 🤢 https://t.co/s7SgkNto1v

Wyatt’s remarks didn’t go down well with the Indian cricket fans as they trolled her left, right, and centre. The fans bombarded the comment section with numerous reactions. Here’s a look at some of those:
Yeah. Hope no batter tries to steal distance. Agree totally!

So nice of Danni to hope that no batter steals runs in the U19 WC. Play by the rules, folks 😊.

Hope there is no calling back the player once they are dismissed.
We don't want U19 world champions who don't even understand the rules of the game!

otherwise i Hope so @Deepti_Sharma06 will take care of you in WC.
Poor england cricketers . If you don’t like Indian players then we can hope you never come india to play WIPL😏
The MCC headquarters aren't too far for you people, you know. The kind of fuss the English people create over a rule, I'm sure all the England teams will be able to take time out and confront the MCC over the same.

Go on, then. Try and stop us if you can.
I hope there is 10 times more of that. Y'all can keep crying.

There won’t be as long as the batter at the non-strikers end stays within the crease. Simple!

Talking about the game, the India’s women’s team notched a 137-run total in the first innings. Skipper Shafali Verma got out on the very first ball of the innings. However, Shweta Sehrawat and Soumya Tiwari stitched a 71-run partnership for the second wicket to lead a stunning recovery.
Both the batters scored 40 runs each in their innings but Soumya Tiwari (2 off 5) and Richa Ghosh (15) failed to deliver with the bat. India couldn’t get the finish they needed but still, it proved to be more than enough for them to defend the score.
South Africa could only manage to score 83 runs in the second innings, thereby handing India a 54-run win. Shabnam MD and Archana Devi were the picks of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets each. The second T20 international is slated to be played on Thursday in Pretoria.
