The Trinbago Knight Riders showcased their dominance yet again in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League as they out washed the Barbados Royals to secure their second win of the tournament with an astounding 133-run victory. The match, held at the Kensington Oval Bridgetown, Barbados, witnessed a thrilling display of cricketing prowess from both teams.

Andre Russell proved once again why he is considered one of the best all-rounders in the game. His bowling performance was outstanding as he claimed three crucial wickets that dismantled the Barbados Royals' batting lineup. Russel sent both the openers of Barbados royals to hut in the very first over which made TKR a head in the game. Russell's ability to take wickets at crucial moments turned the tide in favor of Trinbago Knight Riders. 

Joining him Afghan magical spinner Waqar  Salamkheil Took 4 crucial wickets in his 3.2 overs with the economy of 4.4 while Akeal Hosein grabbed 2 wickets in his 4 overs spell. 

Fans reacting to this on social media reacted that these West indies players will only perform in Franchise leagues, but they will fail to do it when it comes to National, and this is the main reason for West Indies not qualifying for the World Cup 2023. 

Martin Guptill’s Splendid century in Kensington Oval.

Guptill's innings was nothing short of spectacular. He displayed exceptional batting skills and played some breathtaking shots to reach his well-deserved century. He remained not out with 100 of just 58 balls, His knock not only provided stability to the team but also set a formidable target for the opposition and secured man of the match award.

Winning the toss Barbados Royals opted to field first as a result TKR had a flashy start where their opener Martin Guptill Scored a splendid century to reach the Score board to 194/5, chasing 194 Royals fell into Russel’s trap in the very first over by both the openers sent back to pavilion. No other batsmen showed up as a result managed to score only 61 where they lost all their wickets, secured a win to TKR.
