Veteran Indian skipper MS Dhoni fan-girl Mahika Gaur has made her debut for England against Sri Lanka in a T20I match. Gaur is one of the most exciting fast bowlers in women’s cricket, who has previously played for UAE and made an impressive performance in a rain-affected win over Sri Lanka on her England debut.
The tall pacer made her debut at the age of 12 but made his second debut for the new international team England at the age of 18. As England took on Sri Lanka in a T20I, Mahika was named in the playing XI. In the game, she also took her maiden international wicket. She dismissed Chamari Athapaththu on 15 (10) runs.
“I was practising bowling in the garden. I think my dad was just surprised that I could roll my arm fully without chucking the ball," Gaur had said back in April this year. "He was a left-arm bowler in college but never got to do his cricket thing. But when he saw that I have potential, he's always been on board,"
