Virat Kohli, the Indian giant, found his form after reflecting upon himself during his break prior to the Asia Cup 2022. After making a strong comeback in the continental tournament, Kohli, stood up for India yet again in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup during the Pakistan clash played on October 23.
Remaining unbeaten on 82, the Indian veteran ensured India sailed through and won the first match of the showpiece event. However, what remains a mystery today is his fitness and many aspiring cricketers in India look up to him as an inspiration.
Kohli’s allrounding prowess in batting, fielding and fitness remains unmatchable by the rest of the cricketers, as the veteran stands a bit taller when compared to the rest in the modern-day era. Commenting on his fitness, the veteran batter said that it was more important to him than cricket practice.

I feel that having fit body makes you think better: Kohli
The star batter said that having a fit body helped him think better and added that it could help people in whatever work they take upon in their life. Further, the former Indian skipper said that it was essential for him to stay fit to improve his game.
“Fitness for me is, is probably more important than than cricket practice. I honestly feel that having a fit body makes you think better as well. So it could help people in their work, sport, anything that they do when you when you’re fit,” Kohli said in the video released by Cricket’s governing body.
“If you just want to start your day off well and you look forward to actually doing a lot more on an everyday basis rather than just dragging yourself through the day which I think is not an ideal place to be in. I try to stay fit because if I have a moment where I can make a difference,” he added.
“When there’s pressure and I don’t have the bat in hand, it doesn’t mean my job is over. So you can always change the game with your feeling with your energy with your enthusiasm. If you’re not physically ready, then you won’t be able to capitalize on those moments. so that’s something that I constantly look to do and work for that in the gym or on the training ground,” said Kohli further in the video.
