Mohammed Siraj was on fire when he came out to bowl in the second innings of the final ODI against the West Indies. He claimed the wickets of Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks in just three balls. He provided the magic in his first over. Siraj is becoming a well-known pacer of the Indian attack.
In the final ODI of the series, West Indies were forced to chase 257 in just 35 overs with the DLS method coming into play. The Nicholas Pooran-led team succumbed for just 137 runs thanks to some splendid bowling by Indian pacers. Siraj outclassed other bowlers in his first over. He claimed his first wicket on the first ball as he dismissed Mayers with a charming in-swinger.
As unplayable as it was, Mayers tried to flick the ball to the leg side and the ball clipped the bails off dismantling the middle and off stump. On the third ball of the over, Siraj claimed the wicket of Shamarh Brooks with a straight ball. Shamarh Brooks missed the ball completely and lost his wicket. The opening spell of Siraj consisted of some fire and ice. The fiery young bowler came all out on the Caribbean batters.
A remarkable over from @mdsirajofficial, bagging #Mayers and #Brooks while only giving away one run. Spectacular.
