Bayern Munich beat Paris Saint-Germain by 1-0 in the first leg of the round of 16 games of the Champions League. Kingsley Coman's goal gave them the victory at Parc des Princes on Tuesday as the star stud PSG failed to trouble the defence of Bayern.

Bayern dominated the game as likes of Leo Messi and Neymar were out of touch and failed to make any major impact in the game. It was Kylian Mbappe in the second half who shifted the balance of the game back in the favor of the hosts. Till the full time, Mbappe had two goals on his name which were disallowed because of offside while Messi had a shot on target which was overturned by a brilliant block from Bayern defender Benjamin Pavard.

PSG manager Christophe Galtier is having trouble fielding all three superstars at the same time in the game. Galtier named Messi and Neymar in the first XI against Bayern while Mbappe came off the bench in 2nd half of the game. Meanwhile, senior journalist Julien Laurens believes that Galtier can’t field all three together in the game. While speaking with French radio station RMC Laurens said that Galtier would have to opt to play only the two of them together at some point.

"It's impossible for all three of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe to play together and be good altogether. It is not possible! At some point, you have to choose. Kylian alone, ok, two of the three, maybe, but the three together is impossible."

PSG looking for a way to make a comeback

Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier and Co. will be hopeful of returning to winning ways as they will be facing Lille in Ligue 1 later this week. They will also want to take revenge on Bayern when both teams will face each other in the return leg on March 8.

Notably, Mbappe pulled his hamstring earlier this month and has been given a three-week recovery plan. However, he is not pulling out of the game and tried to save his team in the recent game although he failed to do so.
