Manchester United to fine Cristiano Ronaldo with a big sum for his big interview

Cristiano Ronaldo is in troubled times as he has been slapped with a fine of 1 million Pounds for his tell-all tale interview with Piers Morgan according to the Daily Star. In a series of startling revelations, he did not take kindly to Eric ten Hag the manager in the box seat for Manchester United.

He also came down heavily on the club and bashed them for giving him the cold shoulder and making his stint at United a very torturous one. Ronaldo had an interview with Piers Morgan in which he went all out to tell his tale of woe. The interview was put out just a few hours after the Red Devils registered a hard-fought 2-1 win against Fulham.

It has not been a smooth ride for Ronaldo at Manchester United

In the interview, this is what he had to say, about Eric ten Hag, the man in charge, "I don't have respect for him because he doesn't show respect for me. If you don't have respect for me, I'm never gonna have respect for you.”

He had this to say about the top brass of United "Manchester United tried to force me out," he said. "Not only the manager but the other two or three guys who are around the club . I felt betrayed. I don't care, people should listen to the truth. Yes, I felt betrayed. I feel that some people didn't want me here, not only this year but last season too."

Ronaldo missed the game because he was sick. Ronaldo was not in the best health and so he was not part of the side which emerged victorious in the Carabao Cup victory against Aston Villa which took place on Thursday.

Just before Ronaldo spilled the beans, He was levied with a fine of 14 days' wages in October. The reason was that he declined to step in as a substitute in a game which featured Tottenham Hotspur. In a bizarre turn of events, the man from Portugal decided to walk into the tunnel right after the match concluded.
