The round of 16 matches in the Carabao Cup will feature some mouth-enticing encounters. English League Cup will see the next round of games take place on the 31st of October. With the English football season going strong, there are some huge clashes in store including a huge game for Manchester United.

Manchester United the defending champions have been handed a tough draw. Arsenal on the other hand have been given a tricky encounter. There are a few Premier League clashes that are set to be viewed in the next round of the Carabao Cup.

Manchester City meanwhile are out of reckoning after they lost on Wednesday. Pep Guardiola and his side are unbeaten in the Premier League. The treble-winning team is yet to lose a game in the Premier League.

Premier League teams dominate Carabao Cup draw

Defending Champions Manchester United will play their round of 16 clash at home in Old Trafford. Their opponents are the same they beat last year to win the cup Newcastle United. Erik Ten Hag saw his side sweep past Crystal Palace with a 3-0 margin. Newcastle United beat Manchester City 1-0 on Wednesday night at St. James Park.

Arsenal will travel to face off against their London rivals West Ham United. The Hammers beat Lincoln City with a 1-0 margin, while Arsenal won 1-0 against Brentford. Chelsea will face Blackburn Rovers at home after their 1-0 win against Brighton.

It will be another all-premier league clash when Liverpool face Bournemouth away from home. Liverpool moved into the next round with a win over Leicester City while Bournemouth beat Stoke City. Sean Dyche will face his former side Burnley at Goodison Park. Dyche had managed Burnley for a decade before parting ways after their relegation from the Premier League.

Mansfield Town will host Port Vale while Middleborough will play away to Exeter City. Premier League side Fulham are set to round off the draw with a trip away to Ipswich Town. Manchester City with 8 titles is the most successful team in the history of the competition. Their cross-town rivals Manchester United have won it 6 times as they look to defend their crown once again.
