List of 405 players across 10 teams released for Indian T20 League auction 2023

The Indian T20 League player auction list has come out and a total of 405 cricketers will go under the hammer. The auction will take place in Kochi on December 23rd, 2022. At the start, before, there were a total of 369 players who were shortlisted by 10 teams. There were broken down from the initial list of 991 players.

Thirty-six players were added in as they were brought on as per the request of the teams. This is how a total of 405 players will be put out at the auction. Out of 405 players, there are 273 Indians and 132 overseas players. Out of the 132 overseas players, four of them are from associate nations. 

There are 119 capped players,282 uncapped players and four are from associate nations. There are a maximum of 87 slots available out of which 30 of them are reserved for overseas players. 2 crore INR is the highest base price with 19 overseas players who have been slotted in the highest possible bracket.

The 2023 edition will be held in the home and away format in India

There are eleven players in the auction list who have been listed in the auction with a base price of INR 1.5 crore. Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey are the two players in the list who are Indian players in the list of 20 cricketers with a base price of 1 crore INR. The auction will start at 2:30 IST.

The Indian T20 League will go back to its original home and away format. This upcoming 2023 edition will be entirely held in India. The 2022 edition was also held in India, but it was restricted to Maharashtra entirely. The games were played at the Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil Stadium and Brabourne Stadium. This was done at the time of the coronavirus pandemic. The women's Indian T20 League will be held before the men's Indian T20 League.
