Universe Boss, Chris Gayle has been out of action for a long time. However, he has arrived in the Legends League Cricket and will be playing for Gujarat Giants for the remainder of the tournament. 

The Caribbean legend has bagged as many as 22 centuries to his name in the T20 format. He would look to notch a couple more in the ongoing tournament. Gujarat Giants is all set to welcome him and Gayle is likely to play today's match. To the surprise of many, Chris Gayle has refrained from announcing his retirement from International cricket.

Speaking of Gujarat Giants, the team has done well under Virender Sehwag so far. Barring the last match, which was led by Tillakaratne Dilshan, the team has won two of the four matches. However, it is all about Chris Gayle now and no wonder that the ‘Universe Boss’ is all set to take the centre stage. 

The arrival of Chris Gayle might come as a boon for Gujarat Giants. The veteran star has all the potential to smash from ball one and can get threatening over time. Needless to say, the duo of the Caribbean legend and Virender Sehwag can be a treat to the eyes. 

Albeit the Indian opener is yet to find his rhythm, the arrival of the ‘Universe Boss’ can come as a relief to the team. As far as fans are concerned, they have been missing Chris Gayle for a long time now. Now that the 43-year-old has stormed into the squad, they can witness the fireworks in the league.
