It is super Sunday in Indian T20 League 2023 as Rajasthan played Hyderabad in the fourth game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. While in the second game of the day, Bangalore will take on Mumbai later in the day. However, in the first game, Rajasthan batters took on Hyderabad ballers and hammered them all over the field to register a massive total of 203 runs in 20 overs. England skipper Jos Buttler along with young Yashasvi Jaiswal has provided Rajasthan a flying start.

As Rajasthan was made to bat first after losing the toss on a flat track the visitors took full advantage of the chance. Jaiswal and Buttler put up 85 runs for the first wicket in six overs giving Rajasthan a great start in the season. In his furious innings, Buttler struck a stunning half-century, scoring 54 runs off just 22 balls. In his innings scored seven boundaries and three sixes and batted with a strike rate of 245.45.

On the other hand, Jaiswal also hammered a brilliant half-century. In his innings, the young batter scored 54 runs off 37 balls with nine boundaries and a strike rate of 145.95. In the end, Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson also smashed a half-century but failed to play till the end as Rajasthan are 10-20 runs short in the innings. Samson in his innings scored 55 runs off 32 balls with three boundaries and four maximums.

Will Hyderabad be able to pull off the run chase?

Hyderabad who is playing without some of their prominent batters will be looking to start well in the tournament. Playing without Aiden Markram will be a very difficult run chase for Hyderabad and it reflected in their chase also as they lost the first two wickets in the very first over of the game. Opener Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi were dismissed for a duck by Trent Boult.

Later Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Harry Brook who was making his debut in the Indian T20 League. He was dismissed after scoring 13 runs in 21 balls. In the very next over Jason Holder dismissed Washington Sundar to restrict Hyderabad to 39/4 in 8.2 overs.
