The Cricket Board of Pakistan named their 15-man squad for the ODI World Cup in India. Pakistan has named Hasan Ali as he makes a comeback to the squad to replace injured Naseem Shah.
Right-arm fast bowler, Haris Rauf has been included in the team despite his injury concerns. Shadab Khan, also has been drafted into the team despite his poor form. Abrar Ahmed was the favorite to replace Shadab Khan but the selectors did not take a chance.
The Pakistani team will start their World Cup 2023 campaign with a game against the Netherlands on 6th October. Babar Azam and his side will then face India in the biggest clash of the tournament on 14th October.
Hasan Ali back in the Pakistan squad for the World Cup
Babar Azam has been named the captain of the Pakistan side which is set to play the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. The biggest news is the inclusion of Hasan Ali instead of Naseem Shah. The 20-year-old pacer had injured himself during the Asia Cup 2023 game against India.
Hasan Ali last played an ODI in 2022 against West Indies. Speaking about the selection, Inzamam-UL-Haq said “Naseem was injured, he was our main bowler and it was unfortunate, Hasnain has an ankle injury and is out injured and so is Ihsanullah."

The former Pakistan skipper while speaking on Hasan Ali said “If you say Hasan Ali performing in the LPL, or other performances, he has performed better than most. He is an experienced bowler who has played big mega events for Pakistan and performed well in them.”
The former Pakistani legend said that Hasan Ali’s experience saw him earn a recall to the side, “When Naseem was ruled out, we needed someone who could bowl with the new ball. He bowls well with both old and new ball, and is a team man. His presence lends energy to the team”
When quizzed about Naseem Shah’s prospects for the Tournament, Inzamam said “Unfortunately, the report we have from our doctors, we hear Naseem will be out for a longer time than just the World Cup. At this time, he was the world's best bowler in my view. It's a loss for Pakistan and we hope he's fit soon."

what team is it? Babar Azam has equated friendship with performance. Now everything confirmed that is why Mohammed Hafeez resigned yesterday. Sarfarz Ahmed should be in team with Imad Wasim too. Pakistan's early exit from the World Cup has…
wasim junior instead of zaman khan why bro??
