In the third ODI against West Indies, India made a remarkable comeback to win the game by 200 runs. This victory also helped the visitors continue their dominance over the hosts in the ODI series, winning their 16th consecutive ODI series. Despite an amazing display of batting performance by the Indian Team in the 3rd game, it is safe to say that India won the series because of the bowlers.

Since the first ODI game, India's bowling has been phenomenal. It has tested inexperienced West Indies batters at crucial moments. However, Shardul Thakur has been exceptional among the pacers. Thakur clocked eight wickets in three games, including four in the third and three in the second. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill scripted history

Earlier in the game, India were called to bat first. Taking full advantage of the opportunity, Indian openers Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill added 143 runs for the first wicket. Their record-breaking partnership helped establish the foundation for the Indian innings. Gill, who was adjourned as Player of the Match, scored 85 runs off 92 balls with the help of 11 fours. Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan scored his fourth consecutive half-century.

He hammered 77 runs off 64 balls with the help of eight fours and three sixes. Apart from him, Sanju Samson and stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya also scored half-centuries. Samson, in his inning, scored 51 runs off 41 deliveries with the help of two fours and four sixes. Meanwhile, Hardik, in his innings, scored an unbeaten 70 runs off 52 balls with the help of five sixes and four 4s. These batting performances will boost India's confidence for the upcoming games.
