India's under-19 women's cricket team secured a comfortable victory against New Zealand in the recent match of the Under-19 Women's World Cup. New Zealand started off strong, scoring 107 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the first inning, with Georgia Plimmer leading the way with 35 runs off 32 balls, and Isabella Gaze also contributing with 26 runs off 22 balls. However, India's Sonam Yadav proved to be a strong force on the field, taking 3 wickets in the first inning to limit New Zealand's scoring.

In reply, the Shafali Verma-led side made 110 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in just 14.2 overs, securing the victory with ease. Shweta Sehrawat was the top scorer for India with 61 runs off 45 balls, and Soumya Tiwari also contributed with 22 runs off 26 balls. The Indian team played with determination and controlled aggression throughout the match which was the key to their victory of 8 wickets.

The Indian bowlers were also impressive with their performance. They bowled with discipline and didn't allow the New Zealand batters to score freely. The fielders also supported the bowlers well by taking some spectacular catches.
