Pakistan lost to England by 26 runs as England win a test series in Paksitan after 17 years on Pakistan soil.

England and Pakistan locked horns again at Multan for the second Test match of the series after England recorded a historic win on a flat road at Rawalpindi. On a pitch which had spin conducive conditions. Abrar Ahmed spins a web over the England batting lineup. He picked up 7-114 in the first innings in his 22-over spell. England were bowled out for 281 in the 1st innings.

Pakistan got a taste of their own medicine in their first innings as Jack Leach and Joe Root contained the Pakistan batters as none of them could get going except for Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel. Babar scored 75 off 95 balls with 10 fours and 1 six. Shakeel scored 63 off 106 balls with 10 fours. Pakistan made just 202 in their first innings. England then pressed the accelerator in the second innings 275-10 with a lead of 79 in the first innings.

England got runs from Ben Duckett who scored 79 off 98 balls with six fours. Harry Brook continued his fine form in the series with a majestic 108 off 149 balls with 14 fours and 1 six. Pakistan were set a target of 354 by England to get in their fourth innings.

Pakistan in their second innings were provided with a brisk start from Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan who scored 45 off 94 balls and 30 off 43 balls respectively. Then Rizwan, Babar and Shafique received superb deliveries that rattled them.

Pakistan had a brief revival when Saud Shakeel scored 94 off 213 balls with 8 fours. Imam ul Haq made 60 off 104 balls with 7 fours. But once Imam was dismissed by Leach England got the opening. Shakeel and Mohammad Nawaz also had a brief partnership but when Mark Wood scalped them there was no turning back for Pakistan. Wood and James Anderson were the second innings heroes.

Wood picked up 57-4 in his spell and Anderson picked up 2-44 in his 16-over spell. Pakistan lost another Test and England wrapped up the three-match series 2-0. The final wicket was taken by Olie Robinson who got Mohammad Ali out leg before wicket. England beat Pakistan by 26 runs.
