From being trolled as Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) run machine, to evolving as the spearhead of the Indian pace attack, Mohammad Siraj has come a long way in recent years, with former India captain Virat Kohli playing a key role in his transformation. We've witnessed the kind of bond the two RCB teammates share, and Siraj himself has expressed his respect for Kohli on multiple occasions.

The strong bond between the duo once again caught the attention of cricket fans when Team RCB visited Siraj's new home in Hyderabad ahead of their crucial Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Videos and photos of RCB players visiting the right-arm pacer's home for a delicious biryani part have gone viral on social media.

Siraj recalls Kohli's surprise visit to his first home

Recently, in a chat with Gaurav Kapoor on his show “Breakfast With Champions", Siraj shared a surprise Kohli gave him a few years ago.

“I invited Virat bhai to my house saying I was hosting a dinner, will you come? He said yes, yes Miyan. I will. Then I arranged everything and invited the whole team. I called Virat again and he said he couldn’t make it because he had a stiff back. I was sad but he ultimately ended up making it and gave me a surprise. I ran and hugged him. It was the biggest gift of my life,” the 29-year-old said.

Meanwhile, Siraj and RCB have two crucial matches left in the IPL 2023 group stage to enter the playoffs. They will face SRH on Thursday and Gujarat Titans (GT) on May 21.
